Radio hosting or All inclusive: what is the difference?

Radio hosting includes the stream server with the LexyCast panel and web space on Plesk. All inclusive adds LexyChat for your listeners and a TeamSpeak server for your team in one plan.

I already broadcast on laut.fm. Do I still need hosting?

For your station's website: LautFM hosting includes Plesk web space for your radio website and a test stream via LexyCast with Icecast.

Shoutcast or Icecast?

Both, even at the same time. LexyCast supports Icecast, Icecast-KH and Shoutcast 1.9, 2.5 and 2.6. Create several channels with different server types, bitrates, codecs and listener slots, connect to the server once, and LexyCast broadcasts your stream on all channels automatically. Available codecs: Opus, AAC-HE v2, AAC-HE v1, AAC-LC and MP3, plus FLAC on selected plans. HLS is available as an add-on.

How do presenters connect to the server?

Via Shoutcast v2 with title and cover transmission, via Icecast or via Shoutcast v1. Every presenter gets their own source port and password.

How much traffic is included?

Web radio plans include unlimited traffic.

Where are the servers, and is SSL included?

Our servers are located in Germany. A free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate is included in every plan.
